aktashite, n. Min.|ˈæktəʃaɪt| [ad. Russ. aktash (V. I. Vasil′ev 1968, in Voprosy metallogenii rtuti 125), f. Aktash, name of a town in the Altai Mountains in southern Russia where the mineral was discovered: see -ite1.] A rhombohedral sulpharsenite of mercury and copper occurring as xenomorphic grains and isotypic with nowackiite.
