Gotlandian, Gothlandian, a. Geol.|gɒt-, gɒθˈlændɪən| [ad. F. gothlandien (A. de Lapparent Traité de Géol. (ed. 3, 1893) II. ii. ii. 748), f. Got-, Gothland, name of an island in the Baltic + -ian.] Of or pertaining to the geological system between the Ordovician and the Devonian or to the geological period during which it was deposited.
