‖ Gratiola Bot.|græˈtaɪələ| [mod.L. f. grātia grace: so called from the supposed medicinal virtues of the plants. Cf. F. gratiole.] A genus of scrophulariaceous plants, the best known species of which is G. officinalis, the Hedge Hyssop.
