Gustavian, a.|gʌˈsteɪvɪən| [f. the name Gustavus: see -ian.] Of or pertaining to the reign of any of the Swedish kings named Gustavus, spec. of Gustavus III (1771–1792) and Gustavus IV (1792–1809); used esp. with reference to the literature of the period.
