uniˈcapsular, a. Bot. [ad. mod.L. ūnicapsulār-is (whence F. unicapsulaire): see uni- and capsular a.] Of a pericarp: Having a single capsule. Of a plant: Characterized by a pericarp of this kind. Also Zool. = monocyttarian a. (Cent. Dict. 1891).
