Of or pertaining to the Hatti or their language, formerly regarded as conterminous with the Hittites, now as a section of them. Hence as n., their language. So ˈHattian n. and a. a. One of the race of Hatti or their language. b. = Hattic adj. above. ˈHattism, the social and political system of the Hatti.
