Uniterm Library Science.|ˈjuːnɪtɜːm| Also † unit term. [f. uni- 2 or unit n. (and a.) + term n.] The name for a system of indexing whereby each of a series of documents is accessible through an alphabetical index of subject headings; a keyword which forms one of these subject headings.
