‖ univerˈsalia, n. pl. ? Obs. [L., neut. pl. of ūniversālis: see prec.] An official letter or proclamation issued by one in authority to all the states or nobles of Poland, esp. one convening the national diet. Also erron. as sing. (quot. 1772).
