heterocerous, a. Entom.|hɛtəˈrɒsərəs| [f. mod.L. Heterocera neut. pl., f. hetero- + Gr. κέρας horn.] Belonging to the sub-order of lepidopterous insects Heterocera (Moths); so called from the diversified forms of the antennæ, which are not clubbed as in the Rhopalocera (Butterflies).
