hexapody Pros.|hɛkˈsæpədɪ| [ad. Gr. type *ἑξαποδία, f. ἑξαποδ- of six feet, f. ἕξ six (hexa-) + πούς, ποδ- foot. Cf. dipody, monopody.] A line or ‘verse’ consisting of six feet.
