Hilary|ˈhɪlərɪ| [f. Hilarius, name of a doctor of the church, bishop of Poitiers (died 367), whose festival in the English Calender is on Jan. 13.] a. Name of a term or session of the High Court of Justice in England; and also of one of the university terms at Oxford and Dublin.
