hircic, a. Chem.|ˈhɜːsɪk| [f. L. hirc-us he-goat + -ic.] Of or pertaining to a goat. hircic acid, a liquid fatty substance believed by its discoverer to be the odorous principle of mutton suet: now held to be a mixture of fatty acids.
