ˈhollow-root Herb. [A 16th c. transl. of G. holwurtz, hohlwurtz, applied to Aristolochia, also to Corydalis tuberosa: see Grimm.] a. A name for Corydalis tuberosa (C. cava), also called hole-wort and hollowwort); extended by Gerarde to other species of Corydalis. b. erron., A name for Adoxa Moschatellina.
