humetty, a. Her.|hjuːˈmɛtɪ| Also -é, -ee. [f. humet + -y = Fr. -é.] Said of an ordinary (as a cross, fesse, chevron, etc.) of which the extremities are couped or cut off so as not to reach the sides of the escutcheon.
