humidor|ˈhjuːmɪdɔː(r)| [f. humid a., after cuspidor.] A box, cabinet, or room in which cigars or tobacco are kept moist; also, any apparatus, such as damp sponges, for keeping cigars, the atmosphere, etc., moist.
