Hunanese, a. and n.|huːnəˈniːz| [f. Hunan, name of a province of southern China + -ese.] A. adj. Of, pertaining to, or characteristic of Hunan or of the Chinese spoken there. B. n. a. An inhabitant of Hunan. b. The dialect of Hunan.
