[ad. mod.L. Hussīta (usu. pl.), f. the surname of John Huss, or Hus (an abbreviation of the name of his native village Husinec, lit. ‘goose-pen’, in Bohemia).]
A follower of John Huss, the Bohemian religious reformer of the 15th century.
