urobilin Chem.|jʊərəʊˈbaɪlɪn| Also -ine. [f. uro-1 + L. bīl-is bile: see -in1, and cf. F. urobiline; coined as G. urobilin by M. Jaffe 1869, in Arch. f. Path. Anat. & Physiol. XLVII. 406.] A brownish resinous pigment found in the urine, and occas. in the blood.
