‖ vandola, n. Mus.|vænˈdəʊlə| [Sp. vandola (J. C. Amat, Guitarra Española, y Vandola: earliest known ed. 1596), bandola: see bandore n.] A small, Spanish, early stringed instrument of the lute family, a variety of bandore or mandolin.
