vermivorous, a.|vəˈmɪvərəs| [f. mod.L. vermivor-us worm-eating + -ous. Cf. F. vermivore, Sp. and Pg. vermivoro.] Feeding on worms, grubs, or insect vermin; said esp. of certain birds.
