A. adj. That indicates; indicative. indicant days: see quot. 1706.
1607Schol. Disc. agst. Antichr. i. ii. 108 There are words meerely indicant which shew, and signes figuratiue which signifie. 1633Ames Agst. Cerem. ii. 340 It is a naturall indicant signe of peace. 1706Phillips, Indicant Days (among Physicians), those Days which signifie that a Crisis or Change in a Disease, will happen on such a Day. 1886in Syd. B. n. (Med.) That which indicates the remedy or treatment suitable (cf. indication 1 b).
