† indigitament Obs. rare. [ad. L. indigitāmentum, in pl. indigitāmenta books containing the names of the gods and prescribing their ritual, f. indigitā-re to indigitate: see -ment.] An appellation or title by which a deity was (in local or special connexion) known and invoked: see also quot. 1675.
