Age ii. ii. 229 The vnruly stalions fed with Ambrosy. 1676Bullokar, Ambrosie, a sweet shrub, or little tree, wherewith some people were wont to make Garlands. In Poetry it usually signifieth the meat of the Heathen gods. It is sometime taken for Immortality. |
