1. Dishonourable, disgraceful, shameful; indecent, vile.
1340Ayenb. 220 Þe fole takinges and inhoneste ine zenne of lecherie. 1432–50tr. Higden (Rolls) VII. 269 Spekynge to that woman wordes inhoneste. 1520Whitinton Vulg.
