1. Serving, servile.
1646Sir T. Browne Pseud. Exp. i. i. 3 Although their intellectualls had not failed in the theorie of truth, yet did the inservient and brutall faculties controle the suggestion of reason.
2. Serving or subservient to some end; serviceable, conducive, assisting.
