insufflate, v.|ˈɪnsʌfleɪt| [f. L. insufflāt-, ppl. stem of insufflāre (post-cl.), f. in- (in-2) + sufflāre to blow upon. Cf. F. insuffler (14–15th c.).] 1. trans. To blow or breathe in.
