Wakash, n. (and a.) Now Hist.|wɑːˈkæʃ| [f. Nootka wa·ka·š bravo! (see quot. 1778).] a. Orig., the name given to a subgroup of the Nootka. b. = *Wakashan n. Also attrib. or as adj.
