‖ intonaco, -ico|ɪnˈtəʊnəkəʊ, -ɪkəʊ| [It. intonico, formerly also intonaco plaster, f. intonicare to cover with plaster, L. type *intunicāre, f. tunica coat, tunic.] The final coating of plaster spread upon a wall or other surface, esp. for fresco painting.
