amontillado|əmɒntɪˈjɑːdəʊ, -tɪˈlɑːdəʊ| [Sp.; f. Montilla, a town in Spain + -ado -ate2.] Formerly, a wine of the sherry type produced in Montilla; now, a matured sherry in which the ‘flor’ has developed.
