‖ amorphozoa, n. pl. Zool.|əˌmɔːfəʊˈzəʊə| [mod.L., f. amorpho- + Gr. ζῷα animals.] A collective appellation given by Blainville to those protozoa, such as sponges, and their allies, which have no regular form.
