amphigene Min.|ˈæmfɪdʒiːn| [a. Fr. amphigène, f. Gr. ἀµϕιγενής of both kinds, of doubtful kind; f. ἀµϕί both + γένος kind, nature.] A synonym of leucite, rejected by Dana.
