ˈwaveform Also wave form, wave-form. [f. wave n. + form n.] The shape of a wave at any moment, or that of the graphical representation of a (usu. periodically) varying physical quantity; a wave regarded as characterized by a particular shape or manner of variation, esp. a varying voltage.
