weddellite Min.|ˈwɛdəlaɪt| [f. the name of the Weddell Sea, Antarctica, where it was first found + -ite1.] A hydrated calcium oxalate, CaC2O4.2H2O, which occurs as colourless tetragonal crystals and is common in calculi.
