jildi Mil. slang (orig. Anglo-Indian).|ˈdʒɪldɪ| Also jeldi, jildy, juldie, and other varr. [ad. Hind. jaldi quickness.] Haste, as in phrases on the jildi, in a hurry, and to do or move a jildi. So jildi a., quick; jildi, juldily adv., quickly; jildi v. trans. and absol., to hurry.
