Jixi, Jixie temporary.|ˈdʒɪksɪ| [f. Jix, nickname of Joynson-Hicks (see below) + -i, after taxi.] A two-seater taxi-cab licensed in 1926 while Sir William Joynson-Hicks (1865–1932) was Home Secretary.
