Westmark (ˈwɛstmɑːk, ‖ ˈvɛstmark) Also west-mark, west mark. [Ger., f. west west n.1 + mark mark n.2 2 c.] The currency unit of West (formerly western) Germany, as distinguished from the Ostmark of East Germany.
