Karakalpak, Kara-Kalpak, a. and n.|ˈkærəkælˈpæk| [Kirghiz, f. kara black + kalpak cap.] A. adj. Of or pertaining to a Turkic people inhabiting a region south of the Aral Sea. B. n. a. This Turkic people; a member of this people. b. (Also Kara-Kalpaki.) The Turkic language of the Karakalpak people.
