Khanty, n.|ˈkæntɪ| Also Khanti. [a. Russ. Khantȳ, f. Khanty Xanti.] a. A Finno-Ugric people living in the Ob River basin in western Siberia (= Ostyak n.). b. The Ob-Ugrian language of this people.
