In full, Kiwanis Club. A society of business and professional men formed in Detroit in 1915 for the maintenance of commercial ethics, and as a social and charitable organization; any similar society formed later elsewhere in the U.S.A. or in Canada. Also Kiˈwanian, a member of a Kiwanis Club.
