Kizilbash|ˈkɪzɪlbɑːʃ| (Also used as pl.) Also 8 -bac, 9– Kizzil-, -bashi. [ad. Turk. kizilbaş, f. kizil red + baş head.] a. A Persianized Turk of Afghanistan. b. A member of any of several cultural or religious minorities in Asian Turkey.
