koilonychia Path.|kɔɪləʊˈnɪkɪə| [a. G. koilonychia (J. Heller 1897, in Dermatol. Zeitschr. IV. 490), f. Gr. κοῖλ-ος hollow + ὄνυξ, -υχος nail + -ia1.] A condition of the finger-nails in which the outer surfaces are concave instead of convex; spoon-nail.
