Krukenberg Med.|ˈkrʊkənbɜːg| The name of Friedrich Ernst Krukenberg (1871–1946), Ger. scientist, used attrib. to designate a kind of metastatic ovarian carcinoma that is usually secondary to a carcinoma of the stomach or colon (described by Krukenberg in 1896).
