kubong|ˈkuːbɒŋ| Also kubung. [Malay.] The flying lemur, Cynocephalus variegatus, a small, south-east Asian mammal of the order Dermoptera, which glides by means of stretching the membranes linking its limbs and tail; also called the colugo.
