‖ landsturm|ˈlant-ʃtʊrm| [Ger. = lit. ‘landstorm’.] In Germany, Switzerland, etc., a general levy in time of war; the forces so called out; the militia force consisting of those men not serving in the army or navy or in the landwehr.
