lee-lone dial. Also Sc. lee-lane. [An emphasized form of lone a. The first element is of doubtful origin; Ramsay has liefu' lane in the same sense: see leeful.] Chiefly in phrase by (one's) lee-lone: quite alone, by (one)self.
