Wrotham, n.|ˈruːtəm| The name of a small town in Kent, used attrib. (and occas. absol.) to designate pottery made there in the 17th and 18th centuries, being chiefly red-clay slipware with a yellowish lead glaze. Freq. as Wrotham ware.
