anhidrosis, n. Path.|ænhɪˈdrəʊsɪs| Also (now rare) anidrosis |ænɪ-|. [a. Gr. ἀνίδρωσις lack of sweating, f. ἀ(ν)- privative prefix (see an- 10) + ἱδρῶν to sweat. Cf. hidrotic a.] Inability (or reduced ability) to sweat.
