Some have written leucœthiop, perh. influenced by the transliteration leucœ æthiopes (for λευκοί αἰθίοπες) in the ordinary text of Pliny N.H. v. viii.] An albino of a Negro race. So ˌleucæthiˈopia, the constitution of a leucæthiop. ˌleucæthiˈopic a., characterized by leucæthiopia.
