[Yami, f. i- locative prefix, ‘people of..’ + ami north (wind), so called because they live north of the Ivatan and Itbayat peoples, with whom they are most intimately related.]
a. (A member of) a people inhabiting the island of Botel-Tobago, north of the Batan Islands in the Philippines.
