yarmulke|ˈjɑːməlkə| Also yarmulka; (more rarely) jarmulka, yarmolka, etc. [ad. Yiddish yarmolke, ad. Polish jarmulka cap.] A skull-cap worn by male Orthodox Jews at all times, and by other male Jews on religious occasions: = koppel.
